Jacob Walton
Co-PM, Fios CLO Strategy
Jake Walton joined Sona Asset Management in January 2023 as Co-Head of European CLOs, focusing on the establishment the CLO management platform, it’s oversight, structuring and CLO investing.
Jake has 17 years’ experience within the CLO market, 11 years of which were at Rothschild & Co Credit Management where he was a senior member of the portfolio management team that grew out the CLO 2.0 business from its launch to syndicating 13 transactions. Prior to that he ran CLO portfolio analytics at Elgin Capital for the European CLOs under management from 2007 until 2011. His other experience was at ABN AMRO in their Trust and Securitisation business covering a wide variety of ABS products.
Jake is also an experienced CLO investor having invested in liabilities across the capital structure.
Jake holds a BA in International Politics and History from Keele University
