Steve Holdener
Director, Hong Kong Operations and Compliance
Steve Holdener is the Director of HK Operations & Compliance at Sona Asset Management. He has 17 years of financial services experience comprising of Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Family Offices in different jurisdictions. Steve joined Sona in February 2025.
Prior to joining Sona, Steve was the CEO / COO of a newly incorporated Family Office in Singapore where he focused mainly on Operations and Compliance related matters. Steve started his career in 2008 with Man Group plc in different positions within the Product Management department in Switzerland and the UK. Thereafter, he spent 8 years at a Swiss Asset Manager where we acted 7 years as its Responsible Officer in its Hong Kong subsidiary.
Steve holds an MBA of the University of Hong Kong.
