Mark Dawson
Head of Treasury and Portfolio Finance
Mark Dawson is head of Treasury & Portfolio finance at Sona Asset Management. Mark has over a decade’s experience specialising in treasury and financing at buy-side firms and an investment bank. Mark joined Sona in February 2021.
Before Sona Mark worked in the London office of GoldenTree Asset Management where he worked on the portfolio finance team supporting the firm’s Hedge fund, distressed and structured product strategies. Before GoldenTree Asset Management mark spent time at both LetterOne and Cheyne Capital Management where he held roles within their treasury and operations teams. Mark started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he worked in their stock loan business.
Mark holds a BA (Hons) in Pure Economics and a M.Sc. in Strategic Management from University College Dublin.
